MORE FUNNY TALKING ANIMALS ;)

and a lemur or two...

If you have seen the 2005 film Madagascar, an animated comedy produced by DreamWorks, then you should recognise the above video featuring an animal known as the lemur. Some quick facts about the lemur - their tails are usually longer than their entire body, most lemurs live on Madagascar island, they have long toes for climbing and are very social; living with social groups and family.

You may not learn anything life changing or philosophical here within the videos themselves, but hopefully you get a laugh out of them.

Thanks - (and make sure you come back for more funny content in the near future!)

Can't go wrong with cats

Someone who has never had a pet and doesn't have much interest in animals you say? What are you going to write about?? Well the internet loves cats and I've also come to love looking at pictures of those furry little things.. well I only like the furry ones.. the ones where they look like you could cuddle them all day

you got your beautiful majestic cats
this is probably knows its beautiful as it looks down on everything uglier... oh mighty cat please let me into your presence

adorable cats be adorable

but who can compete with adorable KITTENS?
TOO CUTE!!!

why would people cast away these adorable creatures... well I guess I can't talk seeing as I've never even owned a pet

This video talks about a place where all the cool cats hang out!
Just kidding, it shows you an area in Japan where there are a lot of stray cats! A lot of them are black cats too.. so sad that black cats are unwanted because of superstitions

Cats... you can't understand them sometimes.. they're like an enigma

But overall, if you meet a cool cat make sure to give it a lot of love! They may or may not have the sassiest bitch face ever or maybe they'll be cute and adorable. But in the end they have feelings too

lets end off with a funny cat video! Happy New Year all! take care

Bird Rights?

Funny talking animals is one thing, but funny talking animals with Twitter pages is a whole new level. Take for example (and my personal favourite): @ProBirdRights. It makes no sense and the English is terrible, but over 125 thousand people follow this Twitter account. What makes it so popular? I have no idea and I'm not ready to discuss this. Actually I might, a little (yup, this is the slightly more boring bit [you mean to say this wasn't boring already?] "pls").

Memes. Yeah, I can't believe I even managed to do that (incorporate memes into a blog about funny animals), but it all comes down to memes and what's 'trendy' on the internet. With the whole "Doge movement" and the "much wow", "such good" phase the internet went through, poorly written sentences and the incorrect use of grammar took the interwebs by storm (I think - I haven't actually researched this - feel free to totally slam this "research" in the comments). So, I guess you could say this all started with one funny talking animal the internet dubbed "doge", a Shiba Inu adopted by a Japanese Kindergarten teacher (more info here).

I guess it's like an equation then:

animal + bad english = funny

Well, that's the really simplified equation. I guess the animal has to be "cute" in some way or another (maybe birds are cute? It's all about perspective) and a lot of the world doesn't speak English - so "bad [insert language here]" would be more appropriate. And anyway, sometimes jokes can get lost in translation, so what might be funny in Arabic wont be funny in German or Mandarin.

So I'm going to change the equation to:

"kinda-cute-I-guess-how-does-one-define-cute-don't-get-so-philosophical-about-it" animal + bad [insert language here that will translate well in any other language] = funny

And that's that (there's a whole lot more but I'm gonna stop before this gets even more embarrassing than it already is).

I shall leave with some wise words from this "birds rights activist":

You advocate those bird rights, you little champion.

Bonny

Bonny the Golden Retriever

Starkly contrasting the craziness that is April, introduced in an earlier blog post, here is Bonny - an extremely calm and relaxed dog who can put up with April wagging her tail in her face. Bonny may not meet all 7 factors of enlightenment, but she certainly attains the sankhara-element of tranquillity :)

Bonny is a people dog, happy to say hello to everyone whilst also being smart enough to not eat food from people she does not know... Despite her strong love for food. And, here she is in what I presume to be a 'food coma'.

Bonny is a constant reminder of loving and kindness that should not be taken for granted, where we as people should always have a level of mindfulness in regards to the concern of others.

Try Not To Laugh :)

When you get to this point of the blog, you probably already think Ruby is such a panda nut, but in reality, I love many more animals besides pandas. I have always dreamt of having a clingy kitten or puppy, however I have yet to adopt one from the animal shelters since I live in an apartment and usually no one is home during the day. For reasons unknown to me, many of my close friends are allergic to cat fur. Hahaha, I know what you're thinking, ditch them and make new friends who aren't allergic... I'm working on that one :P

For now, check out this hilarious cats and dogs video!!

The puppy featured at 2:45 is so cute!!

And like always, I will sign off with a cute panda video <3 Look at these cuddly cuties rolling around their cribs <3 So carefree and never having to worry about anything besides their next meal :P

Daniel and His Goats

Hello Animal Lovers!

Daniel here, making my first contribution to the Team Effort that is this Blog.

The festive season came to a peak yesterday (Christmas Day for those of you living under a rock), which means that today was the proverbial 'day after'. That's right: Boxing Day!!! The things that are associated with this day are the Boxing Day sales, recovering from yesterday's food coma, and enjoying the second public holiday in a row!
You're probably thinking 'Daniel, what does this have to do with animals?' Well, ask and you shall receive. See, us Humans are not the only ones getting into (and recovering from) the Festive Season: goats are just as enthusiastic as the rest of us:

Throughout this blog, I will be focusing on goats of all shapes, colours and sizes. But why goats? Well, my interest (and internet users' obsession) was sparked back in 2012/2013 by this entertaining cover of Taylor Swift's smash hit song "I Knew You Were Trouble":

I look forward to exploring the depths of the internet with you for more goat-related topics/videos/images/facts. Ill now sign off with our new best friends wishing you a Merry Christmas:

Funny Talking Animals

FUNNY TALKING ANIMALS :)

Funny talking animals would not be as big of a hit as it is today without the aid and existence of our current modern day technologies - such as user generated content (UGC), Web 2.0, social networking and YouTube being a mass platform for viral videos.

BBC One started making the comedy television series "Walk on the Wildside" back in 2009, and following the success of the show, subsequent seasons 2 and 3 materialised. If you have never seen British voices dubbing over animals out in the wild, then you are in for a treat!

Many of the voices you will hear are well known celebrities such as Ozzy Osbourne, John Goodman and Stephen Fry just to name a few. Hope you enjoyed the videos!

Crazy April

I never really knew what breed dog April was until today - this is due to the fact that we stole her from another family.

April is a shetland sheepdog, also referred to as a Sheltie, which is a breed of herding dogs that are usually small to medium in size, and can come in a variety of colours... according to Wikipedia. But here's what Wikipedia does not tell you about Shelties; these little nutcases will sprint through your house full of energy and excitement for absolutely no reason at all, 2pm, 2am, it really does not matter. They will jump into you and start spinning around in circles rapidly - as it seems they cannot contain their volatile bursts of energy. The combination of ADHD, too much energy over nothing and a pea-sized brain brings forth an awesome-exhilarating dog.

These dogs will stare at you 24/7, follow you everywhere and try to jump on you when you least expect it - as long as you feed it and know how to throw a tennis ball, these crazy dogs will never leave you alone
.

If she were an actual person, she'd be locked up and isolated from society - I can assure you that.

April is an all bark no bite kind of dog, whereas our Golden Retriever (Bonny) whom you will meet soon is a chilled, Zen type dog who meditates at all hours of the day. Bonny is essentially the complete opposite of April, (and is all bite and no bark).

Ruby and Her Panda Obsession :)

Hey everybody! Hope you're all having an amazing Christmas break and looking forward to 2015 like I am. For those of you who are travelling this break, I am so jelly of you! But don't forget the most important thing wherever you are, STAY SAFE!!

It doesn't take much to notice what a panda enthusiast I am, especially with my panda phone cover, panda soft toys and constant spamming of my panda soft toys on Snapchat :P I also tend to link and tag friends in panda videos on Facebook...and the list continues =D Without further blabbering, let's watch a panda video now!

I have been obsessed with pandas ever since I saw a baby panda eating bamboos at the city zoo in Dalian, China. Such a shame Taronga Zoo doesn't have any pandas, otherwise I would be their most frequent visitor =D How can anyone resist the cuteness of baby pandas? Just look at this little guy playing with his ball!!
